I think animals should be treated with respect, and in case of pet, it must be adopted for someone will love it and give it a home. In my case, I don’t like to have dogs at home, although I prefer cats, so, I have a cat named Pancha. It is black and white and she’s so pretty. I take care of her and I enjoy arrive home to play with her.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I now cases where owners let pets all day in the street, sometimes it doesn’t have neither water nor food, so animals suffer from hungry and cold.
Also it is known that some animals are abused in science’s name, without anyone that protect them or try to stop the injuries.
I refuse all kind of abuses to animals, but I consider the most unjust example is when animals are raised for fighting, in case of dogs and rooster. I can’t imagine not only how people enjoy that horror when animals kill each other, but also I can’t agree that they own money for that. I consider it is so unjust and inhuman treatment. Animal’s life has to be respected.

I agree with animal's uses for medical research, it is good and bad. It is good for us, big research medical companies probe new medicines in animals to be sure of it effectivity before uses in humans. It is very bad for animals are used in those experiments because they can suffer any ilness and die.
ReplyDeleteI like go to the circus with my children, we enjoy watching the show with people and animals. I agree with animals trained to perform in circuses if the people take care of them.
I definitely disagree animals fighting, people who do it should go to the jail. It is so cruel, animals doesn't deserve this treatment.

I agree with Eric’s point of view, we need animals to survive, whether for scientific experiments or for food, but I do not agree abuse and cruelly treatment, that ticks me off, because, I can’t understand why people do that. It should be looked for ways to use animals with decency and morality, either aimals are wild animals or home, they deserve to be in their natural habitat and they are entitled to their freedom.

I think that be a dominant specie is more a responsibility than a privilege because in the nature everything is connected are topic are very controversial but the most terrible in my own opinion is animal used for medical research, idea to put any virus or bacteria into the animals to sick it is duty.

The pharmacy industry may be having a big responsibility in produce damages in animals by experimentation.

Some animals are used for fighting, for example, bulls, dogs and fighting cock. The animals suffer real damage with the fighting, and serious injuries, even death.

ReplyDeleteGoing to circuses to enjoy animals’ performance is a way that human beings have to entertain. It’s amazing what variety of things the animal can do when they are trained. However, making the animal imitate the human behavior or act in an unusual manner shouldn’t be seen as funny. People should realize the animals are forced to adopt a specific posture or an acting way that is not natural to them. In that way, the trainers provoke emotional stress and frustration to the animals when they make them to obey, although they have not the intention to hurt the animals, without mention anything when they deliberately abuse of the animals.
On the other hand, it has been demonstrated the life average of animals in circuses conditions is significantly lower than their life average in their wild environment. They usually are denied to the company of others from their same kind. Besides that, they are transported from one place to another, submitting them to a great variety of environmental conditions which they are not habituated. When the event finished, they are placed in cages or in very narrow or small places that don’t allow them to have the same kind of exercises that they do, day after day, being in freedom.
To watch those films or movies where the animal are shown in their natural environment is, in my opinion, more entertained and interesting. It’s incredible how many similarities people can find between human behavior and many animals’ behavior in their own environment. Animals are our company in this world; therefore, we should fight to protect the animal rights to live a better life, their own life.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Trina and Nestor. I can’t understand how people enjoy, and even pay, to watch animals fighting. I consider it a stupid human behavior. To spend time watching those poor animals hurting once to another is a cruel and depraved human behavior. Those people should be conscious about how many problems we still have to solve in the whole world, and collaborate with those organizations or foundations which are doing something to preserve the life of all of beings in this spectacular Planet.

The Natahala said is true, because, many corporation use animals for own purpose and make money with the medicine result of the research whit animals.The big medical corporation should take responsability about damage caused to the animals in the process of investigation.

I ask me, what happen with the mistakes in this researchs? Maybe is true the story about unknow virus like SIDA and other that don´t existed in the past.
I don´t know this answer, but we should know more about this situation.

I think animals can be used for medical research, because there are some treatments that can be discovered prior in animals and then be used for humans. But I believe these animals must to be treated humanely, because some labs have animals in poor conditions, and even worse, some animals are tortured and killed for research.

In some countries it’s really frequent that when people take a trip on vacations, throw out their pets or let their pets alone in the street…many of them die because aren’t prepared to find food or water…Finally…like Trina I don’t like dogs at home and I prefer to have a cat…mine’s is called Kitty…

We´re the dominant species in this world...I really don´t know, sometimes I think animals are smarter than some humans...We need stop to think the consequences of our actions with the environment and the other species. I´ve read rthe other comments and I´d like to say a few words. First of all I´m against the animals abuse without any useful reason. Sometimes there is no choice. Medical research as we know today couldn´t exist without animal experimentation, you need to test everything in order to guarantee its safety for general use. There are people in these experimentations too, but with the diference that they are volunteers or they get paid for that. Animals can´t decide if they want or not.
ReplyDeleteSome investigations fail and I agree with Lucy and Nestor, they should treat the test animals in the best way possible, but they are necessary for research. Take a minute and think, would you like some of your relatives were in a test program for a new drug or vaccine without a guarantee of being tested before and ok?

Animals abuse, in any way, is a brutally behavior, that turns animals in victims defenseless. People’s behavior are under their mind control, and should their reflection about their treated to the animals, because, we don’t act by instinct, therefore they can control the things that can do.
ReplyDeleteWhen is a medical topping, despite that this help to make advances in medicine, it translate in aggressive treatment to animals. I’m sure if you can ask to one of this animal if they want to stay in scientist’s hands, they sure will say “No”. I mind, in case of used for medical research the proceed have to be not cruel.
